Hi! This is Jieun Kim, HASS IID student, class of 21, and currently junior.
Welcome to my world.
How should I introduce myself? Well, this is a bit awkward but Iโll try my best.
Past
To talk about my upbringing, ingredients that are consisting me are pretty Korean. I was born in Korea under my Korean parents, raised in Korea till pre-elementary. But then one day I flew to Singapore and spent most of my primary school life there. I am sure to say that the 4 years of living in Singapore really affected my life until now. I didnโt have to use the โright-handโ (Iโm right now left-handed), I was able to make friends of different countries, learn English/Chinese, I also learned that Taylor Swift is the god, etc. After returning to Korea, I had pretty hard time adapting to the environment here. But the four seasons that I didnโt get to experience in Singapore amused me and made me stay.
Present
Now Iโm here in Yonsei University, the university that I have always dreamed of. Itโs really sad that the half of my university life has been through pandemic and was not able to get to know IID students before. This semester is the first semester I am attending to Songdo courses and Iโm really looking forward to it!
There are a few things that I like these days and I would like to introduce them.
